Our College Faculty achieved gold medals from Acharya Nagarjuna University on 28/12/2013. In view of 33rd and 34th Convocation function, Sri M.Suneetha garu received 3 gold medals for her excellence in Master of Chemistry Education and Sri T.Lakshmi Bhargavi garu received gold medal for her excellence in Environmental Studies from the golden hands of Vice-Chancellor, Nagarjuna University.

Workshop on Human Relations & Communication Skills

Our College NSS Unit conducted workshop on "Human Relations and Communication Skills" in association with Jana Vignana Vedika(JVV), Narasaraopet on 24/12/2013(Tuesday) at our college seminar hall.

Dr.V.Brahma Reddy garu, Founder Member, Jana Vignana Vedika, A.P. attended as a chief guest to address the gathering. He explained how to maintain the human relations and necessary steps to develop communication skills. Sri Mohammed Miya garu, General Secretary, JVV, A.P, who recieved nandi award and NTR award from State govt, told that to the students how one will be always honest, Confident and intelligent. Sri M.Narasimha Reddy garu, Dist.President, JVV, Guntur, Sri Chalama Reddy garu, Dist Secretary,JVV, Guntur and Sri Pasha garu, General Secretary, NRT Rangasthali, Narasaraopet also attended and motivated the students with their speech.

Huge response for Online Submission of Voter applications

Our College management took initiative in submitting online voter application(Form 6). As per the guidelines of Guntur dist collector, every student who completed 18 years of age are eligible for vote.

In a representative democracy voting is the method by which the electorate appoints its representatives in its government. A vote is a formal expression of an individual's choice in voting, for or against some motion (for example, a proposed resolution), for a certain candidate, a selection of candidates, or a political party. A secret ballot has come to be the practice to prevent voters from being intimidated and to protect their political privacy. Voting usually takes place at a polling station; it is voluntary in some countries, compulsory in others, such as Argentina, Australia, Belgium and Brazil.

Blood Donation Camp 2013

Blood Donation Camp was organized by our college NSS unit in association with HDFC Bank and Red cross, Area Hospital, Narasaraopet on 28/11/2013.

Our Managing Director, Sri Sharif garu inaugurated the blood donation camp and also donated the blood. Around 55+ students donated blood to the red cross society, Area Hospital, Narasaraopet. Sri Dr.Krishnadeva Rayulu garu, Incharge, Area Hopital, Mr.Krishna Kishore garu, Manager-HDFC Bank, Mr.Sharma garu, Cluster Head,HDFC Bank and his crew participated in the camp.

Freshers Day Celebrations 2013

Freshers Day Celebrations 2013.....

Our College II B.Tech students gave a grand welcome to I B.Tech freshers. As we got the good number of admissions, freshers day celebrated in a very grand manner.

Sri K.Vasu Deva Rao garu, Jr.Civil Judge, Narasaraopet attended as chief guest for this auspicious function. He explained about the ragging cases, how the student life will be spoiled when participated in ragging. He also created awareness about the sections of punishment towards ragging. He explained about Remote Sensing principles, techniques and its applications in detail to the students.}

Workshop on Non Conventional Energy Sources

"A Workshop on Non Conventional Energy Sources" was conducted in our college on 13-11-2013(Wednesday).

Sri.Harinath Babu garu, Guntur District In charge, Non-conventional Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited [NEDCAP], attended as a chief guest to address the gathering. He explained about the NEDCAP and how the process will be followed in NEDCAP. He told that the genesis of Non-conventional Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited [NEDCAP] took place in the year 1986 with the help of Government of Andhra Pradesh. The sole objectives of NEDCAP are to:

• Generate electricity through renewable sources like wind and solar on decentralized manner
• Conserve energy in rural areas
• Import and adopt viable technology and machinery in the areas of Non-conventional energy sources and ensures post installation service
• Impart training and to promote research and development in the field of Non-conventional energy sources

National Education Day 2013

Abul Kalam Muhiyuddin Ahmed Azad, was an Indian scholar and a senior political leader of the Indian independence movement. Following India's independence, he became the first Minister of Education in the Indian government. In 1992 he was posthumously awarded India's highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna.He is commonly remembered as Maulana Azad; the word Maulana is an honorific meaning 'learned man', and he had adopted Azad (Free) as his pen name. His contribution to establishing the education foundation in India is recognised by celebrating his birthday as "National Education Day" across India.

In View of "National Education Day 2013", our college NSS unit conducted awareness program about Education at Kanaparthi Village, Narasaraopet Mandal on 11-11-2013(Monday). Mr.N.V.R.Bose, NSS Program Officer said that around 100+ NSS voulenteers participated and conducted a rally in the village to create more awareness about the importance of education.

Clean & Green Program at Kotappa Konda



Our College I B.Tech students conducted Clean & Green program at Kotappa Konda on 05/11/2013.

 

As part of NSS program, in view of "Karthika Masam", students had darshan of Sri Trikoteswara Swamy and cleaned the surroundings of the Temple. Our college NSS program officer Mr.V.R.Bose said that "around 200+ students participated in this NSS program and cleaned the surroundings of the temple at Kotappa Konda."

Orientation Program 2013

It was a great news for all of us......

Our College got 400+ B.Tech, MBA -120 and M.Tech - 100% admissions in the academic year 2013-2014. The I Year Orientation program conducted in our seminar hall on 07/10/2012 (Monday). Around 800 (Students + parents) attended for the program.

 

Sri K.Srinivasa Rao garu, RDO-Narasaraopet attended as a chief guest for this program and addressed the gathering. He explained about the student life and how to fix the goals and how to reach the goals to achieve good position.

 

While addressing the gathering our College Chairman Sri Sk.Meeravali garu Said that the students must come to college regularly and the management will try for 100% campus placement.

Engineers Day 2013

Our College celebrated 46th "Engineers Day" on 14-09-2013 in commemoration of Bharat Ratna Sir M.Visvesvaraiah. 

Dr V.Murthy Rao Khokalay, Principal and Sri Sk.Kareem, Secretary & Correspondent decorated the Photo of Sir M.Viswesvaraiah with garland. 

Programme started with Prayer and students and faculty was present for the programme. The various civil  Engineering designs of Sir M.Visweswaraiah like KRS dam Mysore, Bhadravathi Steel plant etc were explained by the Civil Engg faculty. Programme concluded with National Anthem.

Workshop on Television Learning conducted in our college on 26/08/2013 for IV B.Tech ECE students. Mr. Srinivas, Television technicain explained about TV.

Television (TV) is a telecommunication medium for transmitting and receiving moving images that can be monochrome (black-and-white) or colored, with or without accompanying sound.

He also explained how the television works and its features to the students.
