Our College conducted Project Expo & Poster presentation on 27-12-2012 in association with Lemonpro Technologies, Hyderabad. Around 22 projects and 6 poster presentations are registered. Among those 3 got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for project expo and 2 got 1st and 2nd prizes for poster presentation.

In View of Birthday celebrations of Sri Srinivasa Iyengar Ramanujan, National Mathematics Day 2013 was organised in our college on 22-12-2012.

Sri Prof. A.V.Dattatreya Rao garu, Principal, ANU College of Sciences attended as a chief guest for this function. While addressing the gathering, he told the principles and foundations of Ramanujam. He also told that young Engineers should go ahead in the directions shown by ramanujam. As a token of respect, our management and principal felicitated him with a momento and shawl.

As per directions of Registrar-JNTUK, Globarena Technologies Limited, Hyderabad conducted E-learning and asesment solutions, a 4 days program for IV & III B.Tech students. Mr. Sundar, Co-ordinator, Globarena Technologies visited the college and explained how to learn and upgrade the skills. Students are also well satisified and learned how make use of the e-learning programs.

Shiva Shakthi Group conducted Off-Campus Placement drive at our college on 06-12-2012 for MBA 2012/2013 passouts. Total around 40 students turned up for the interview. They shortlisted the candidates by conducting the various rounds like Written Aptitude test, Technical round and HR round. Finally 5 got selected.

EYE Screening Test Camp

Our College organised EYE Screening test camp in association with Sankara Netralaya-Guntur on 24-11-2012 at 10 a.m at our college campus. Around 100+ students attended for eye checkup. Sankara Netralaya doctors conducted scrrening test and issued free medicines to the students and they also gave some tips to the students to avoid eye

Fresher's Day 2012

Our College celebrated Fresher's Day on 10/10/2012 (Wednesday). II B.Tech students organised the function in a grand manner. Around 250+ II B.Tech students and 400+ I Year students attended for the function.



 

 Sri Gatika Chalam garu, Cine artist, Asst. Director, attended as a chief guest for this auspicious function. He acted in so many films and he got credit as a dialogue writer for the film Srimannarayana (starring Balakrishna as a hero). Now presently working for raviteja and venkatesh films as writer. He is also a best friend of our Principal Dr.Murthy Rao garu. While addressing the gathering he told some famous dialogues of the file srimannarayana and also promised that he will write some dialogues about our college in his future films.

Students organised various programs like dance, singing, skits etc. EENADU paper associated with our college for this program. They conducted some spontaneous games like Single leg dance, Mummies, Sign on Balloon etc and distributed the prizes to the winners.

 Our Chief guest Sri Ghatika Chalam garu distributed the prizes to the winners of various games like cricket, volleyball, kabbadi, musical chairs etc. As a token of respect, our college management felicitated the chief guest with a shawl and memento.

II B.Tech students organised very well and they got appreciation from the management, Principal and staff members.

College Got 400+ admissions in 2012

It was a great news for all of us......

Our College got 400+ admissions in the academic year 2012-2013. The I B.Tech Orientation program conducted in our seminar hall on 21/09/2012 (Friday). Around 700 (Students + parents) attended for the program. While addressing the gathering our College Chairman Sri Sk.Meeravali garu Said that the students must come to college regularly and the management will try for 100% campus placement.

Our beloved Principal Dr.V. Murthy Rao garu said that the students should concentrate on studies and communication skills and also added that the parents should co-operate with the college rules.

Note: In this function, our IV B.Tech 2009 Batch students acted as anchors and also showed their communicative skills through the program like role plays and group discussion on corruption.

Engineer's Day 2012

" Engineering is the professional art of applying science to the optimum conversion of natural resources to the benefit of man."

 

Engineer's Day is observed in India on September 15 in honour of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya who was born on the day in 1860.

He was the chief designer of the flood protection system designed and built for the city of Hyderabad, as well as the chief engineer responsible for the construction of the Krishna Raja Sagara dam in Mysore which created the largest reservoir in Asia at that time.
He also designed and patented a system of automatic weir water floodgates that were first installed in 1903 at the Khadakvasla Reservoir near Pune. These gates were employed to raise the flood supply level of storage in the reservoir to the highest level likely to be attained by a flood without causing any damage to the dam. Based on the success of these gates, the same system was replicated at the Tigra Dam project in Gwalior and the Krishna Raja Sagara project in Karnataka.
A recipient of India's highest honour, the Bharat Ratna, in 1955, he was knighted as a Commander of the British Indian Empire by King George V before Independence. He died on April 14, 1962.

 

On this occasion, our college invited Prof.Ravi Shankar Chandu garu, Deputy Director-Academics, Vignan University, Guntur on 15/09/2012, saturday to celebrate 45th Engineer's Day. While addressing the gathering, he told that an Engineering Student should concentrate on basic concepts of every subject and shouldn't run for the marks.

As a token of respect, our Director Sri Sharif garu and our Principal Dr.V.Murthy rao garu felicitated the cheif guest with a shawl and momento.

Teacher's Day Celebrations 2012

“ The best teacher is the one who suggests rather than dogmatizes,
and inspires his listener with the wish to teach himself.”

In India 5th September is celebrated as Teachers' Day as a mark of tribute to the contribution made by teachers to the society. 5th September is the birthday of a great teacher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was a staunch believer of education, and was the well-known diplomat, scholar, President of India and above all a Teacher.

When Dr. Radhakrishnan became the President of India in 1962, he was approached by some of his students and friends and requested him to allow them to celebrate 5th September, his "Birthday". In reply, Dr.Radhakrishnan said, "Instead of celebrating my birthday separately, it would be my proud privilege if September 5 is observed as Teachers' Day". The request showed Dr.Radhakrishnan's love for the teaching profession. From then onwards, the day has been observed as Teachers' Day in India.

On this Special day (05/09/20102), we invited Sri A.S.Sharma garu as a Chief guest to our college. Sri Sharma garu retired as a Head Master at Z.P.High School, Palapadu(V), Narasaraopet. He addressed to the B.Tech students that "A good teacher is like a candle - it consumes itself to light the way for others."

The advantages and benefits of becoming member in the Institution of Engineers (India) was elaborated to all the members of students chapter by Prof. T. Narayana, Chief Guest of the inauguration programme. The benefits includes, participation @ various seminars, conferences, colloquiums, programmes of National importance (such as Engineers day, etc.,) Exemption in section ‘A’, getting Dual Engineering degree equivalent to B. Tech in any other branch to the B. Tech degree holders, Research grants for B. Tech, M. Tech & Ph.D project works etc.,.

It was a great news to inform that Prof. Sandhya Kode, Director - EnhanceEdu, IIIT Hyderabad had an interactive discussion with our college Students on the topic "Learning by Doing - Bridging the Industry Academia Gap" on 20th June 2012, 4pm - 5pm.

Further, as soon as the information is recieved thro email, the interactive sessions are being conducted at our college for the benifit of the students.

Achievement Day Celebrations

Our College celebrated Achievement Day on 18/06/2012 (Monday) in a grand way. Sri Maddukuri Ashok garu, Founder:Maddukuri Foundation attended as a chief guest for this auspicious occasion. Students of B.Tech & MBA 2012 passouts attended the function along with their parents.

As we all know that our college created a record in placements. Total 95% of the students placed in various companies like HCL, SYNTEL, HDFC Bank, ISRTC, IGENIESES etc. No college in Narasaraopet division showed these many placements. This is the record in narasaraopet division.

CINT Placement drive

Choice Information Network Technologies Pvt. Ltd conducted a Campus Placement drive at our college on 23-05-2012(Wednesday) for B.Tech(All branches) 2012 passouts. Mr.Kumar, Technical Head-CINT and his crew visited the campus. FAREWELL DAY CELEBRATIONS

In view of 1st B.Tech batch going out from the college, III B.Tech students organized FAREWELL to the IV B.Tech Students on the college Inception day i.e. 09/03/2012. Eswar College of Engineering celebrated FAREWELL PARTY Celebrations in a very grand way. 


Sri M.R.Seshagiri Rao garu, Secretary & Correspondent, MAM Pharmacy College, Narasaraopet attended as a chief guest. While addressing he said that Eswar College of Engineering is one of best college in A.P., where the college is developing in all the directions like quality of education, placements and student activities etc. He distributed the prizes to the winners of various activities conducted in view of farewell day.

To encourage the students, our college management distributed medals to the winners, who won the prizes at the various activities conducted by the other colleges.Mrs. Kalpana, cine actress distributed the medals to the students.






For entertainment of the students, college management invited the cine comidians like Gundu Hanumantharao, Kondavalasa Lakshmanarao, Tagubothu Ramesh, Mrs Kalpana & mimicry artist Soma Sekhar.

Awesome performace by Mimicry artist Mr.Soma Sekhar.

He imitated the various cine heros and politicians voice. In his performace, cricket mimicry is very good.

Thagubothu Ramesh performing dance for the song Kodipaya Lachamma di from the film ISHQ.

A very good entertainment comedy skit by Mrs. Kalpana & Gundu Hanumantharao

A Comedy track between Kondavalasa (aithey OK) and Gundu Hanumantharao

A comedy skit played by Gundu Hanumantharao, Thagubothu Ramesh and Kalpana.

Cine Artist Kalpana performed dance for the various songs like Danchavey (Ride), Sir Osthara (Businessman) and many more...







All the activities were completed around 11P.M. and it was a very entertaining day for all of us.
